Working together with AREPA after damage makes sense - but cooperating before damage is even better.
Lightning, over voltage and transients constitute latent risks of damage and fire in all electrical installations. This is especially the case with CNC and PLC controls, data, computer, communication and telecommunication equipment.
Similarly, all industrial processes will produce impurities in the form of dust, oil, grease, soot, and chemical pollution, which will eventually form layers on and in the production equipment. These layers may be both corrosive and inflammable - and in both cases result in inadvertent interruptions of production.
The AREPA Maintain service offers preventive inspection of electrical installations and maintenance cleaning of technical equipment.
The preventive inspection of electrical installations involves the examination of all installations, terminal boards etc. and the suggested ways in which they can be remedied. Apart from the apparent security that fault detection provides to the customer, the report will also be of use in connection with risk evaluation when negotiating insurance premiums.
The basis of the maintenance cleaning of technical equipment is an inspection of the plant and an accompanying analysis of the type and extent of dirt formation. The results of the analysis are evaluated, the cleaning method and its extent is determined, and a cleaning schedule prepared. If faults are detected in the equipment during cleaning, AREPA can offer to remedy these. |
